The South Korean midfielder for Valencia, Kang-in Lee, has been called up by the coach for two matches for the senior team. One of them is a World Cup 2022 qualifier so the player will have to give it his all.

He is one of Valencia's players whose future at the club is unknown. He has lots of talent, but we do not know if he will have a place in Marcelino's side so the option of him being sent out on loan is being considered. It will be key for him to develop more because he is 18.

That said, last season, he made his debut with the first team. He took part in 11 matches, five of which he started. He neither scored nor assisted in those matches. He stood out in the B team where he scored lots of goals.

Paulo Bento counted on him for the following matches. One of them will be against Georgia in a friendly. It will take place at 3.30am (CEST) on 5th September and it could be the moment for the midfielder to make his debut.

In the second one, South Korea will face Turkmenistan in a 2022 World Cup qualifier. It will be on 10th September at 4pm and the footballer may not get a chance there because there is a lot at stake. Despite that, we will not know until shortly before kick-off.
