Tottenham Hostpur striker Harry Kane's two goals against London rivals West Ham on Saturday helped him beat a record set by Thierry Henry.

Kane found the net with a powerful header and an opportunistic rebound as Tottenham won 3-2 despite Serge Aurier's red card, as well as hitting the woodwork twice as he went in search of a hat-trick.

The goals moved Kane on to 21 goals in 29 games against London opposition, meaning that he averages a goal every 112.6 minutes in derby games.

That ratio puts him ahead of Arsenal legend Henry, whose 43 goals in 59 derby appearances averaged out at a goal every 114.1 minutes.

The 24-year-old was understandable delighted after the game, telling 'Sky Sports': "For some reason London derbies seem to suit me! t's fantastic. I'm delighted to get a couple of goals and help the team get the three points."

The goals moved Kane on to four in the Premier League so far this season as he looks to retain his Golden Boot after scoring 29 last term.
