Juventus want James Rodriguez to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo
Reports in Germany are linking Juventus with a swoop for Bayern Munich star James Rodriguez, who is on loan from Real Madrid.
The Colombian star joined the Bavarian giants on a two year temporary deal and impressed in his first season, but amid suggestions he is unhappy under Niko Kovac, he is reportedly seeking an early exit from Germany.
'SportBild' claim that Juventus want to sign the attacking midfielder in January, but they face a battle to convince Bayern to let him leave the club early.
The publication say that James is desperate for a move and would even consider returning to the Bernabeu.
However a move to Turin could also appeal and after Jorge Mendes brokered the £100million transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo to the club, they could take advantage of their relationship with the super agent, who also represents James.
It is understood that Mendes will meet with Bayern in December to negotiate the early exit.
