We take a look ahead to Tuesday's first-leg of the Champions League tie between Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur at the Allianz Stadium, as both teams look to put down a great foundation for their quarter-final claim.

Juventus:

The Serie A leaders will be without a number of key players for the home leg as Paulo Dybala, Juan Cuadrado and Blaise Matuidi are all reportedly carrying injuries while Benedikt Howedes wasn't even included in the Champions League squad.

Andrea Barzagli is also a doubt as the centre-back trained separately to the rest of the team ahead of the match on Tuesday.

Tottenham:

There are been numerous reports in the British media that Toby Alderweireld has not made the trip to Turin despite returning from injury against Newport County in the FA Cup.

However, apart from Juan Foyth and Georges-Kevin N'Koudou who aren't part of the European squad, head coach Mauricio Pochettino has a full selection to choose from although he may decide to stick with the team that beat North London rivals Arsenal on Saturday.

Did you know?

The 'Bianconeri' are unbeaten in 26 games at the Allianz Stadium in UEFA competitions, with the run stretching back to April 2013.

Possible lineups:

Juventus: Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Chiellini, Benatia, Sandro; Marchisio, Pjanic, Khedira; Bernardeschi, Higuain, Mandzukic.

Tottenham: Lloris; Trippier, Vertonghen, Sanchez, Davies; Dembele, Dier, Eriksen, Alli, Son; Kane.
