Juventus are keen on signing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, however they have reportedly turned down Lazio's proposal of £89m plus Rodrigo Bentancur for the player.

Milinkovic-Savic is a wanted man, attracting interest from both Manchester United and Juventus, and it seems that his current club Lazio are being proactive in attempting to get the desired compensation for the highly-rated midfielder

The Serbian has just returned home from the World Cup, meaning that transfer dealings can now begin in earnest, and 'Tuttosport' are reporting that Lazio have gone to Juventus with a proposal.

The Italian outlet report that Lazio have offered the Serie A champions the chance to sign Milinkovic-Savic, in exchange for £89m and Rodrigo Bentancur. However, this is quite an optimistic offer from them, and Juventus have rejected it on the grounds that the fee is too high and they don't want to let Bentancur go. The Uruguayan is a 21-year-old midfielder, and Juve have high expectations of the young prospect.

The same outlet state that Juventus chief Giuseppe Marotta is looking to secure a deal for Milinkovic-Savic in the region of £71m to £80m, although he will have to fight off Manchester United, who are also very keen on the 23-year-old.
