Juventus released a brief but strong statement with regards to their match against Napoli. The Turin club confirmed that they will take to the field at the set time, despite knowing their opponent's travel ban for having two players with the coronavirus.
Elmas and Zielinski tested positive and the Azienda Sanitaria Locale refused the side travel. They were going to leave for Turin on Saturday at 19:00.
For now, the holding of the match is far from assured, although both parties are in negotiations with the relevant authorities to find a solution.
But, for the time being, Juve seem to be turning a deaf ear and confirm their presence on their stadium turf. A team that, curiously, also reported two positive COVID-19 cases, although they are not players or coaches.
