Jude Bellingham returned to group training with Real Madrid on Saturday, having recovered from the muscle discomfort that kept him out of the previous session. The Englishman is now expected to be included in the squad to face Celta Vigo at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Following an individual recovery session on Friday, Bellingham rejoined his teammates at the Valdebebas training complex, suggesting he is on course to return as planned for Sunday's La Liga clash.

In contrast, several key players remain sidelined: Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, Antonio Rudiger, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy and Eduardo Camavinga all missed training once again due to injury.

With options limited, Carlo Ancelotti turned to the Castilla academy to fill the gaps. Lorenzo Aguado, Jacobo Ramon, Youssef, Chema Andres and Sergio Mestre all trained with the first team and are strong candidates to be called up for the weekend fixture.

Real Madrid must beat Celta to stay in the title race as they currently sit four points behind leaders Barcelona. If Hansi Flick's side beat Valladolid on Saturday and Madrid fail to win on Sunday, the Catalans could clinch the title in next week's Clasico.
