Joao Felix starts after one training session
Chelsea's brand spanking new signing Joao Felix goes straight into the starting 11 for the Blues' game away to Fulham. The Portuguese has only had one training session to get used to his teammates.
The Premier League's seventh matchday was postponed after Queen Elizabeth II died and this Thursday we are going to catch up, well, at least in terms of Fulham-Chelsea. It is a game in which both sides will give it all for the three points.
However, everyone's attention will be on Chelsea's snazzy new signing for the next six months: Joao Felix. The Portuguese man arrived in London on Monday, and has only trained once with this teammates, but starts the game at Craven Cottage.
Chelsea's imperative need to improve in the league made them go for him in the market. The Portuguese player did not have the best relationship with Diego Simeone at Atletico, and will assume all the responsibility at his new side.
Joao Felix has the chance to silence the critics over his levels of performance. The new number 11's quality is undoubted, but provided he starts to show it on the pitch.
