James: I've left Spain now leave me alone
Bayern Munich playmaker James Rodriguez has appealed to the press to leave him alone after allegedly being misquoted.
The Colombian took to Twitter on Wednesday to rubbish claims that he had said Bayern were a bigger club tha Real Madrid.
In his message, he said: "This is a lie, I did not say this, I have complete repect for Real Madrid! I've already left Spain now leave me alone, thank you."
The quote that "Bayern are just a big a club a Real, if not bigger" had been spread by several media sources despite the player seemingly having never said it.
The 26-year-old is only on loan in Bavaria and so will not be looking to upset the apple cart, knowing that he could return to Real in the future.
The former Monaco man will be hoping that he can now leave this matter behind him and press on with proving his worth with his new employers.
