James Rodriguez has analysed the defeat to South Korea and wants to see a more positive side to the result, as well as giving a vote of confidence to new boss Carlos Queiroz.

The player that all Colombians want to see play remained on the bench for the start of Colombia's clash with South Korea, with James Rodriguez being dropped in favour of a more youthful line-up. This is something that he sees as a positive thing, however.

"They are doing a very good job, even though they're young. They've competed very well and they have enough game time," he said after the game.

James also preferred not to see the result as a negative thing, stating that: "We have played a very good game with intensity, but the result is deceitful. We were missing a lot of good players, like Cuadrado, Juanfer, Arias".

On the manager, James was also positive. "Queiroz is a manager with a lot of experience and with good ideas for these great players. I feel comfortable with whatever he wants me to do or wherever he wants me to play."
