A busy summer is expected at the Santiago Bernabeu. 'Marca' explains in detail this Friday which players will leave Real Madrid. They will try and make 180 million euros by selling the likes of James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale, Jovic and Mariano.

Real Madrid have plenty of players out on loan and others on high salaries who are not performing. The club have a busy summer ahead selling footballers to reduce the amount of players in the squad.

Although there is no start date for next season, we do know that the market will be open until 4th October. 'Los Blancos' hope to have received 180 million euros by then. An amount which seems difficult and ambitious to start with.

Javi Sanchez has been sold to Valladolid for 3.5 million euros and Achraf Hakimi has gone to Inter Milan for 40. Now it is time to sell some of the more senior players.

The biggest doubts come with Gareth Bale. Not because of Real Madrid where Zinedine Zidane has made clear that he does not want to play the Welshman, but because of the player and the current market's situation. The winger does not want to move and his agents have already said that, if his contract is rescinded, they want him to be paid the remaining two years on his contract.

As is obvious, Madrid are not willing to pay the more than 60 million euros gross they would still have to give Bale, but it also seems difficult another European club would put enough money on the table for the winger. Bale was also to moving to China last summer and he was on Tottenham and United's radar last January.

James Rodriguez's situation is different. He is wanted by many clubs and there is talk of Benfica getting him despite the fact the Portuguese club cannot pay the amount he gets at Madrid and the Spanish club are not willing to pay part of the money he is still owed. However, their relationship with Jorge Mendes is goof and the player knows his future does not lie at the club.

Another player is Luka Jovic. The cited media outlet says that Real Madrid want him to leave whether it be on loan or sold. That is due to his relationship with Zidane and his off the field issues. Especially problematic was his trip to Serbia during the coronavirus lockdown.

If Jovic is sold, Real Madrid's plan is to get back the 60 million euros they paid Eintracht Frankfurt last summer, something which seems complicated. Nevertheless, there are teams willing to pay for him like Monaco.

Other players who could leave are Mariano and Brahim Diaz. Mariano has hardly played although his goal versus Barca made him reappear from time to time and Madrid told him last summer that they did not count on him. Despite that, the former Lyon man insists on staying. Brahim looks set to go out on loan.

And those on loan?

Reguilon, Dani Ceballos and Jesus Vallejo return from loan deals. Sevilla would be happy to keep Reguilon given that he will struggle to play for Real Madrid due to Mendy and Marcelo.

Real want 20 million for Reguilon and 15 million for Vallejo. Vallejo could stay at Granada. Dani Ceballos has no chance of staying at Madrid and they could get 30 or 35 million from Arsenal who are delighted with him.

Odegaard will continue at Real Sociedad for another season (he will come back when Modric leaves) while Kubo will be loaned out elsewhere. Reinier will as well and Odriozola could stay at Bayern. Two academy players in De Frutos and Dani Gomez could leave the club and Betis and Celta are after them for a price of 10 million euros each.
