Barcelona player Pedri pointed out that his team did not start well in the match against Osasuna, going into the break with a 2-0 deficit that put things in the locals' favour.
“In the first half we were not good. I think the second goal penalised us. We deserved more,” said the Tenerife-born player in the microphones of ‘Movistar LaLiga’ about the early stages of the night.
After the second half, Barcelona took a step forward: “We had to go out for the match. After that result at halftime, we wanted to go all out and they hurt us on the counterattack”.
“It is normal that there are changes. There are many matches and it is normal for the team to rotate in order to arrive well to all the matches. It's not an excuse and that result at halftime penalised us”.
Regarding the action of the second goal, preceded by a possible foul by Torro, Pedri assured that for him it was “a very clear foul”. “There was a very clear foul on Pau Victor and there was a very clear penalty on Lamine. The referee has not been fair to us”.
