'It seems like there are more Argentinians here than in Argentina'

Nicolas Tagliafico, who started Tuesday's victory over Croatia to get into the World Cup final, highlighted the huge amount of Argentinian fans in Qatar. He made it clear that they are only thinking about taking the trophy back home.

Marcos Acuna's suspension meant Nicolas Tagliafico started against Croatia. The left-back was sensational and cut out the few dangerous attacks Zlatko Dalic's side had. 

After the win and making through to the final, he spoke to the Argentinian national team's official account. He highlighted the supporters' role. 

"It seemed like that there were more Argentinians than in Argentina. What our people do is crazy. We're leaving everything out there. Whatever happens, this team will not stop thanking them," Tagliafico said. 

For the defender, individual players are less important than the team: "When a group is united, the players involved
