"It's not been easy, but I have shown I can bring a lot to Barca"
Ivan Rakitic, FC Barcelona midfielder, analysed the solid win against Mallorca and reviewed his first few difficult months of the season.
Rakitic is back. Just like at the Wanda Metropolitano, the midfielder started this Saturday at the Camp Nou, in Barcelona's 5-2 thrashing over Mallorca.
The Croatian midfielder had another good game and made it clear that he is an important man for Barcelona, despite having been on the exit ramp in the last few months.
"I felt very comfortable, very good, each game I am better. I don't think there's anyone who's more eager than me. I am trying to give it my all and gain the boss's confidence again," he commented in a mixed tone.
Rakitic was thrilled after his third successive start and sent a number of messages of commitment to the fans and coaching staff.
"What I am going to do is work every day. It has not been easy these past few months, but I wanted to work to gain confidence and these last few weeks I have shown that I can bring a lot. Like I have always said, I want to play and help my teammaters," the footballer commented, who has once again made a place for himself on the team.
