Chelsea centre-back Benoit Badiashile said ahead of the Blues' Conference League match against Noah that, although “it is difficult” to succeed in London, he will do his best to stay.

Benoit Badiashile is struggling to establish himself as a regular starter at Chelsea since joining the Blues in January 2023 from Monaco

The French centre-back spoke ahead of the Blues' Conference League clash with Noah and made it clear that he has no intention of leaving. "Of course, I want to stay. Chelsea is a big club. I know it's difficult to succeed here. But I will do my best," he told reporters.

Badiashile was bought by the Stamford Bridge outfit for £35m and the former Monaco man is contracted to Chelsea until 2030, so it follows that the club would be unwilling to part with him unless a big offer came in.

The 23-year-old defender has made seven official appearances under Enzo Maresca this season, six of them starts, in which he has been cautioned twice.
