Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou said after the draw against West Ham that the knee injury suffered by Maddison in the Europa League semi-finals against Bodo/Glimt does not “look great”.

Tottenham managed to claim an important win in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final against Bodo/Glimt, although they were dealt a blow when Maddison had to be substituted in the second half with a knee injury.

The England striker was unavailable for Spurs' 1-1 draw with West Ham and Ange Postecoglou said after the game against the Hammers that the former Leicester player's injury "doesn't look great".

"It doesn't look great. Probably get more clarity tomorrow but it's fair to say it's not looking promising," said the Spurs coach.

In fact, the London outfit fear that Maddison's season is over and he may not be available for a possible Europa League final should they seal their passage in the second leg in Norway.
