Real Madrid dominated the first half of their Champions League clash with Roma on Wednesday but largely struggled to find a way through, until a moment of magic from Isco on the stroke of half-time finally broke the resistance.

Visiting goalkeeper Robin Olsen was the star of the show in the opening 45 minutes, making fine saves from Isco and Sergio Ramos to name but a few.

However, the classy playmaker finally bested his opponent on the stroke of the break after being tugged back by Daniele De Rossi on the edge of the box.

The Spaniard lineup up the ensuing free-kick and produced the perfect strike to just evade the jump of De Rossi in the wall and drop into the corner.

There was nothing the goalkeeper could have done as Isco once again demonstrated his set-piece prowess.
