After Manchester United shot stopper David De Gea kept his 90th clean sheet in the Premier League, we examine how the Spain international stacks up compared to his competition.

De Gea had a milestone weekend when United secured a 2-0 victory against Huddersfield Town on Saturday. Not only was the 27-year-old making his 300th league appearance for the club but he also kept his 90th clean sheet - more than any other goalkeeper in the same timeframe.

However, how does his other statistics compare to other Premier League goalkeepers?

- Save percentage for keepers with minimum 50 PL games -

1. David De Gea (Man United) - 74.2%

2. Petr Cech (Arsenal) - 73.5%

3. Tom Heaton (Burnley) - 72.4%

- Total number of saves -

1. David De Gea (Man United) - 620

2. Simon Mignolet (Liverpool) - 598

3. Ben Foster (West Brom) - 593

- Minutes per goals conceded, minimum 50 PL games -

1. David De Gea (Man United) - 95

2. Thibaut Courtois (Chelsea) - 93.9

3. Petr Cech (Arsenal) - 90.2

Going by these three groups alone, De Gea appears to be one of the league's best in terms of shotstopping ability and consistency.
