Inter's bus delayed en route to stadium
Inter Milan arrived over 20 minutes late to the stadium for the second leg of the UCL semi-finals against AC Milan. The bus got stuck en route behind a badly parked car.
The 'Derby della Madonnina' didn't start so well for Inter. The 'Nerazurri' side was heading for San Siro stadium when the bus met an obstacle, delaying the team by more than 20 minutes.
According to journalist Gianluca di Marzio, a badly parked car left the bus stuck, with all the players and coaching staff on board, ahead of the Champions League semi-final.
After nearly a half hour wait, authorities moved the car and the bus could pass, which arrived 20 minutes late to the stadium. Just before 19.40, Simone Inzaghi and his team made it to the locker rooms.
The whole way there, the bus was accompanied by numerous Inter fans who crowded on both sides of the road. Optimism is high among the fans who, after the 0-2 first leg scoreline, see themselves very close to a return to the Champions League final.
