Injured Dragowski could miss WC
Bartlomiej Dragowski will miss the World Cup. Poland's second-choice goalkeeper suffered a shocking injury to his right foot during the Serie A match between Hellas Verona and Spezia.
Bartlomiej Dragowski got injured one week before the World Cup kicks off in Qatar. He left the Marcantonio Bentegodi Stadium crying in an ambulance after suffering an injury during the Spezia clash.
The Poland goalkeeper, who has been named in Robert Lewandowski's squad for Qatar 2022, came out of his box to clear a ball but he collided with a Hellas Verona player.
Verdi gave Hellas Verona the lead and Spezia were forced to make a change due to an injury to Dragowski, who was replaced by Zoet. In the second half, the visitors came back with a brace scored by N'zola.
In addition to Dragowski, Poland have Skorupski and Szczesny as goalkeepers. The national team will have to make changes on Monday after assessing Dragowski's injury, which seems very serious.
