After the Copa del Rey draw concluded and Real Madrid were paired with Fuenlabrada in the last-16 round of the competition, the third-tier club teased the current La Liga title holders.
The fact is Real Madrid have never crossed paths with Fuenlabrada, who play in the Spanish Segunda Division B, and the club based in the south of Madrid have taken advantage of that. As soon as the draw in Las Rozas concluded, Fuenlabrada posted a defiant comment challenging Real Madrid on social media.
'115 years of history and they still have not managed to beat us', Fuenlabrada posted on Twitter, jokingly adding that the statistic means there are no favourites in the Copa del Rey tie.
