Barcelona have revealed their first squad since Xavi Hernandez became the coach. The Barcelona boss will take charge of his first game in Saturday's derby against Espanyol at the Camp Nou. He has selected 23 players for the fixture.
The main piece of news is the inclusion of Ilias Akhomach, who could even start on the right flank. The 17 year-old has yet to make his first team debut and is, at the moment, the biggest decision Xavi has made.
There is also good news on the injury front. Xavi has got captain Pique, Eric Garcia, Sergi Roberto and Nico Gonzalez back at his disposal.
Braithwaite, Dembele, Dest, Ansu Fati, Pedri and Sergio Aguero are still out, but but they will obviously be watching the match closely.
