Argentina player Nicolas Tagliafico spoke to 'TyC Sports' after winning the World Cup, and he did not take long to praise his side's ability to face adversities.

Argentina have achieved what they wanted to do so much. The 'Albiceleste' have crowned themselves world champions once again after a 36 year drought. Scaloni's men saw off France on a penalty shootout (4-2).

Tagliafico, who started the final, spoke to 'TyC Sports' after the game, and was delighted at his side's ability to bounce-back during their lowest moments.

"The first half was brilliant. Then in the second, we made our mistakes but we knew how to carry on. As Argentines, we always do", the Lyon wing-back claimed.

"I'd like to dedicate this trophy to all the Argentinian people and to those who follow us at the moment. I want to thank you all for the support. I hope that it will inspire future generations. We have to realise that we're better when we are together", he added.

To finish, Tagliafico sent one final message. "Despite everything we've been through in this World Cup, we got to final very calm. I said it after another game: 'If you don't suffer, it doesn't count", he concluded.
