Silvia, the daughter of the Cadiz fan who suffered a heart attack on Saturday against Barcelona, talked about the difficult moments she faced at the Nuevo Mirandilla stadium. She said that he has been sedated, but he has been stabilised.

Tragedy nearly struck on Saturday at the Nuevo Mirandilla stadium. With less than 10 minutes remaining in the Cadiz versus Barcelona game, the clash was halted to attend to a supporter who had suffered a heart attack.

After spending more than half an hour reviving him, the medical staff took him to hospital. His daughter Silvia was with him in the stadium and she gave details on what happened to Spanish radio station 'COPE'.

"I was speaking to my father, I turned to watch the match and man told me that something was happening to him," she told the radio station, obviously saddened by what had occurred.

Silvia thanked "the doctors, Red Cross, police and fans." "Manolo Vizcaino and Joan Laporta (the Cadiz and Barcelona presidents) have called me," she confirmed.

"My father is sedated, but stabilised. We've been asked to be patient and wait to see how he progresses," Silvia concluded.
