Eden Hazard has slammed Carlo Ancelotti for his lack of playing time so far for Real Madrid.

The top players are taking advantage of the World Cup break to hit out at their clubs. First it was Cristiano Ronaldo and now, Eden Hazard

The Belgian footballer made some critical comments, especially against his current coach Carlo Ancelotti, who he has spoken to for "five minutes."

"I have considered these years to be a failure. It's not normal to have so many injuries and I've never been capable of showing what I can do. For me, I didn't really win the Champions League. I played some matches, like in the last 16 in Paris, but like in La Liga, I didn't have an impact. At Chelsea, I was always the best and at Real Madrid I only had some good matches under Zidane. We spoke when he left. He was sad for me because it didn't go as I hoped," he told 'L'Equipe'.

It was then when he remembered the Italian: "I haven't spoken much to Ancelotti. Only once, five minutes into the season. In any case, I've never spoken much to my coaches, I'm not one of those who goes to speak to them to see whether I have to do this or that."

"Being honest, I'm no longer as good as I was in 2018. I'm not showing it because I've suffered a lot physically and mentally, I'm not embarrassed to say that. In 2018, I was maybe among the best 10 players in the world. I don't think I can get back to that level, but if my body allows me, I can still do great things," the Belgian attacker said.

"You don't have to hide. We're not as strong as in 2018, but we have better youngsters than in Russia. The quality is there and anything can happen. In top matches, that quality allows you to make the difference. We've got great players and if Lukaku plays...," Hazard concluded.
