The away side got off to a flyer when Lewandowski headed home Gnabry's cross on 41 mintues, a lead which they took into half time. Muller then made it two just four minutes into the second half, before Reus pulled one back for the hosts with a fine goal on 64 minutes. However, Lewandowski killed the game as a contest on 74 minutes after he capitalised on Akanji's mistake, scoring his second and Bayern's third in an impressive 1-3 win.
Bayern will look to take this momentum into the Bundesliga, as they look for their first league win at home to Koln on August 22.
