Neymar talked about his departure from Barça to PSG and responded harshly to all those who accuse him of being melodramatic.

After several months on the dry-dock, Neymar finally returned to the field of play with PSG and is already aiming for the final of the French Cup and the Copa America as his next goals.

While those moments come, the Brazilian took advantage of an interview given to 'ESPN' to talk again about his departure from Barça to Paris.

"I left because I wanted a new challenge. The challenge of winning and looking for something new. To find new difficulties," he said.

"Barcelona is a club that I've always been passionate about, and I'm still passionate about it today.  It was very difficult to make that decision. There were even moments when I doubted and said 'I'm not going'. I was like this for about two weeks," added the star.

The '10', in the interview, was happy after having left behind a calvary in the form of injuries that have hurt him especially by all those people who accuse him of pretending or exaggerating excessively each contact.

"People are more in favour of the hitter than the dribbler. You know the way I play. It's catching the ball and going on the attack. My style is the one that makes the fans go to the stadium. No one is going to see hits and kicks. If they wanted that, they would go to see MMA or boxing," he said in an interview for ESPN.

The PSG striker explained that his two injuries over the past two years came precisely because he didn't want to fall to the ground during the plays in which they occurred.

"Everyone calls me dramatic. After seven months I suffered the same injury for trying to stay on my feet. And there they wondered why I didn't fall. When I have to follow the play I usually have four fouls and that's when they say to throw me out. It's complicated," he said.

Finally, the star also spoke about the criticism received by his presence at the Carnival during his injury. "I'm going to be honest, it bothered me a lot. Today I don't care anymore and I don't want to explain much more. Whoever knows me knows what I'm like and what my character is," he concluded.
