'I'm the best Belgian striker of all time'
Romelu Lukaku, who already has 45 international goals, believes he is Belgium's all-time greatest striker.
"People sometimes ask me if I am one of the top three Belgian strikers of all time.Yes, yes, yes, yes. I would even say that I am the best of all time. One kilometre ahead of anyone else, I'm telling you."
This were Romelu Lukaku's words as he spoke to social media platform Otro. The Belgium striker made his debut in 2010, and has since racked up 45 international goals. He reached a high point in 2018, when he scored 14 goals in a calendar year.
'I'm No 1 on the national team scoring list, with 34 goals in my last 33 games. What can you tell me now?" Lukaku continued.
His closest rival is Eden Hazard, who lies 15 goals behind the Manchester United striker. The stats certainly seem to back up Lukaku's bold statement.
