'I'm not going back to PSG, it's irreversible'
According to 'ABC', these were Neymar's words to his family after his operation, having watched his team crash out of the Champions League against Real Madrid.
The Neymar issue promises to be one of the biggest stories before the beginning of next season or even longer if he does not change team in that time. The Brazilian is currently recovering in Brazil while in Paris the rumour mill is in full spin.
The most recent story appeared in the pages of 'ABC', where they revealed the declaration that the player had made to his family, confirming that he will not remain in Paris next season: "I am not going back to Paris, it's irreversible."
The Brazilian has already taken the decision and he has asked his father (also his agent) to open negations for his return to the Spanish league, where Real Madrid and former club Barcelona are both interested.
"If I come here, a league with no tradition, and they boo me, I don't want to stay a minute longer," is another phrase that Neymar is alleged to have told those closest to him, showing that he is far from impressed by what France has to offer him.
It will make things more difficult for Neymar as he burns more bridges this season, especially in the build up to a World Cup, and faces another summer with his face splashed on the front of every paper.
