Dani Carvajal, Real Madrid full-back, published a message on his official Instagram account about his relapse of a muscle injury. The player made clear that this has not brought him down and that he is going to work to "return better and stronger than ever".

Carvajal is not going to be brought down no matter how much injures try to get in his way. The Real Madrid full-back is now focussing on his return to the playing field and addressed the fans in a message posted on his Instagram profile after it became known that his relapse is a reality and that he will be out for another two months.

"Yesterday, I told some teammates that, on Saturday night, I had butterflies and nerves to get back to doing what I am passionate about, I have worked hard for it in the last few weeks...", he started saying, referring to the day before playing against Valencia.

"Now it's time to assimilate this last setback and, from now on, start the countdown to get back to those special feelings. I just want to send you a message: I will come back better and stronger than ever", the defender added, to whom Zidane has always given a leading role.

"Thanks to all the messages of encouragement!!", Carvajal ended. It didn't take long for him to receive dozens of messages from Real Madrid fans which gave him encouragement ahead of his recovery. His absence from the squad means that players such as Lucas Vázquez, Odriozola and Marvin could play.
