Rayo Vallecano defender Fran Garcia gave an interview to 'AS' and spoke about his season with his current team and his return to Real Madrid. The left-back said that he will perform the same under Carlo Ancelotti and that he is "looking forward to it".
Rayo Vallecano will face Mallorca as they try to reach the Conference League spot in the final game of the La Liga season. Fran Garcia, who will return to Real Madrid at the end of the season, gave an interview to 'AS' to talk about his future.
"It's been a great three years. It has been a glorious period for Rayo and we have to appreciate it. I'm really looking forward to returning to Madrid. I met Valverde, Vinicius and Rodrygo both in the Youth League and in the academy.
"They played with the same strategies when I made my debut with the first team. The philosophy is the same even if the players change," he added.
"I agree with Ancelotti when he said that I'm a player who works hard. I have potential and that's one of the virtues I have to exploit. I will perform as I have been doing so far and what has brought me this far. I want to take advantage of this opportunity."
