Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo was asked about Barcelona's possible interest in Julian Alvarez, a player very much to the liking of the 'Cules'. The 'Colchoneros' president, with a touch of humor, admitted that he also likes Lamine Yamal.
Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo assured on Tuesday that Argentine striker Julian Alvarez “will die at Atletico Madrid”, and explained that he is confident of reaching an agreement with Barcelona to keep centre back Clement Lenglet, on loan this season at the 'Colchoneros'.
"Lenglet is a Barcelona player, we had him on loan for this season and I imagine that there will be some agreement for him to continue," Cerezo explained in statements to ‘TV3’ from Madrid.
Also, when asked about the alleged interest of the president of Barcelona, Joan Laporta, in Atletico star Julian Alvarez he responded: "And I like Lamine Yamal. We have the same preferences".
"Julian is an Atletico Madrid player and is delighted at Atletico Madrid. I think he is and will be a player of ours. He will grow up and die at Atletico Madrid," he concluded.
