Scott McTominay, who starred in Manchester United's 2-1 win over Chelsea on Wednesday after scoring a brace, said he needs to believe more on himself to keep progressing and stay in good form.

Scott McTominay scored twice as Manchester United beat Chelsea 2-1 on Wednesday to ease the pressure on manager Erik ten Hag and put Mauricio Pochettino under the spotlight.

The 26-year-old stood out with his performances and also won the MOTM award for scoring two goals against the London club. The Scot is in superb form, netting six goals for the Red Devils this season.

"It's something I want to keep building, in terms of my game. People tell me that I can do more of it and I can score goals and you just have to believe in yourself. As long as the team are playing well and I am contributing then I am happy," he told 'MUTV'.

"I was looking at my mum, dad, cousin and his girlfriend and it's special. They are special times that you look back on. I am just grateful for all the fans that stick with us throughout," he added.
