Romelu Lukaku's agent spoke about the something no one knows about the Chelsea footballer. He said that he has always dreamed about playing one day for Real Madrid although Chelsea is, has been and will always be a club he loves.
Last summer, Lukaku left Inter. Chelsea once again came knocking on his door. He had already been at Stamford Bridge between 2012 and 2014, but he did not triumph and he left wanting to perform well in London. That is why he returned.
Lukaku's agent, Federico Pastorello, spoke to 'Sky News' about the player and the dreams the player has always had.
Pastorello admitted that Lukaku has always had one thing in his mind: "I have to admit it, he always had Chelsea in his head... but also Real Madrid. It's one of his dreams when it comes to his career."
He also explained how turbulent last summer was for him. "There were three or four top level clubs looking for a striker and there was not one for each one. During every season he was at Man Utd, he always thought about Chelsea. That was always his target, a club he has loved since he was a kid," he continued.
When the Blues came knocking on his door, Lukaku did not have to give it too much thought. He left aside his dream of playing for Real Madrid for the team he loves. "Lukaku always had the desire to return to Chelsea. It was a matter of pride," he concluded.
