Ousmane Dembele is delighted with his decision to stay at FC Barcelona. After the match against Juventus, the winger spoke to the media and said he was delighted. He promised that he will give his all on the pitch in 2022-23.
Barcelona are in the midst of pre-season. After winning the 'Clasico' by the narrowest of margins against Madrid in Las Vegas, the 'Cules' drew 2-2 against Juventus.
Both goals were scored by Dembele. "The goals give me a lot of confidence and I'm very happy," he said after the game, according to 'Sport'.
Dembélé feels sheltered at FC Barcelona. "I have the confidence of the coach, the team-mates and everyone. That's very important for the players. I'm happy," he added.
The Frenchman made a promise that he intends to keep until his last day as a Barça player. "I'm going to give everything for this club," he said emphatically.
Finally, he said that he sees the team "well". "The tour has been difficult with the heat, the journey... but I think the team has a good feeling," he concluded.
Dembele is happy and so is Xavi who, in his last media appearance, said he doesn't remember the player from before November. "I'm very happy with this one," he summed up.
