Thibaut Courtois spoke to Movistar after Celta-Real Madrid. He said that the penalties given to 'Los Blancos' were clear for him, although he admitted that, at times, perhaps they did not deserve to win.

Real Madrid beat Celta 1-2. The match was controversial and there was absolutely everything before the referee blew the final whistle.

The referee gave three penalties in favour of Real Madrid. After the match, Courtois assessed the game and, for him, the penalties were. "The three penalties are fair. The first and second, above all. Maybe the third one is more difficult... Difficult to see from my goal. It's been a long time since we've had so many penalties," he told Movistar.

The goalkeeper admitted that, at times, they were not at their best. "I don't know if we deserved to win. I made two great saves, it was a tough match.... We suffered," he said sincerely.

And he explained what he meant when he said that perhaps they didn't deserve to take the three points: "We made it a bit difficult for ourselves in the first half, but in the end we pulled it off. On Wednesday, Champions League, and to continue".

Courtois admitted that they spoke in the dressing room about the disallowed goal to Iago Aspas. "He shot, I pushed it against the post and Iago Aspas prevented Alaba from getting to the ball. It's offside. I told him, he understood and it was no problem," he said.
