Huddersfield have increased their offer for Alex Pritchard. Canaries.

'Sky Sports' report that Huddersfield have made an improved offer for Norwich's attacking midfielder.

This comes after the Yorkshire club reportedly launched a bid of £5m earlier this month for the former Tottenham winger, who joined Norwich for £8m in the summer of 2016.

Huddersfield manager David Wagner has previously expressed his appreciation for the former England U21 international, although the inflated market of homegrown players could make the deal difficult.

In an interview with 'The Yorkshire Post', Wagner said: "I like him but I have my doubts if he will play for us because I know how expensive British players are in this window."

"If we are able to get some British players in they have to be at reasonable prices. At the end, it is all about quality. If it's one new signing with the quality to help us, good."
