Holebas has returned home. Olympiacos announced the signing of the LB, who returns to the Greek club where he played between 2010 and 2014. He has signed from Watford.

Olympiacos continue to strengthen and they continue to do so with someone that knows the place. The Greek club have announced the signing of veteran LB José Holebas, who arrives from Watford.

Hoelbas thus returns to the place that was his home between 2010 and 2014, and where he managed to establish himself as a Greek international, in which he played 38 matches, starting various of them in Euro 2012.

The 36-year-old player of Uruguayan heritage started out at 1860 München, who he left in 2010 to move to Olympiacos. There, at the Greek giants, he played 112 matches in his four seasons.

After standing out in Greece, Roma signed the then 30-year-old Holebas and he ended up leaving for Watford after just one season. He was at the English side since the 15-16 season, and he made 124 appearances.
