Toljan will cost Spurs in the region of €15m. Hoffenheim

Reports in the English press claim that Bundesliga side Hoffenheim have set Tottenham target Jeremy Toljan's asking price at €15m.

English source 'Sky Sports News' reports that the German side would request a fee in the region of €15m for the Germany U21 international.

Toljan was part of the Germany U21 side that won the U21 European Championship this summer, defeating much-fancied Spain in the final.

Since his heriocs, the 22-year-old has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich but Tottenham's interest is believed to be the most serious.

Spurs are on the look out for a defender after selling Kyle Walker to Manchester City and Toljan fits the profile that Spurs are looking for.

Toljan is a versatile defender who can play in either full-back position and with 54 Bundesliga appearances under his belt already, he is certainly not short of experience.

Could the Hoffenheim man fill the void created by Walker's departure?
