The Midland Football League side have been warned by animal rights group PETA not to bring their bull to Wembley

Animal rights group, PETA have demanded that the Football Association stop Hereford FC from parading their bull around Wembley at the FA Vase final on Sunday.

Hereford, nicknamed the Bulls, have been granted permission to parade their mascot, Hawkesbury Ronaldo, around the stadium for 30 minutes leading up to the match against Morpeth Town.

Ronaldo the bull is a huge hit with the Hereford fans and is usually present at their Edgar Street ground wearing Manchester United and Real Madrid scarves.

But, PETA campaign coordinator Kirsty Henderson said, "Hawkesbury Ronaldo will likely be terrified and alarmed when subjected to the crowds of shouting football fans,

"We urge FA CEO Martin Glenn to use his influence to spare this bull the stress and misery of being paraded in front of thousands of screaming football fans on Sunday."
