12:53 - The pairings are: Roma and Lazio, Man Utd and Arsenal, Feyenoord and PSV, Rennes and Monaco, Real Sociedad and Real Betis, Union Berlin and Freiburg, Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor and AEK Larnaca and Omonia. Red Star, Dynamo Kiev, Malmo, Midtylland, Bodo/Glimt, Nantes, Sturm Graz and Zurich are paired with a Conference League club.
12:50 - Some teams are also paired with another club for television purposes so if one of the pair is in a red group (A-D), the other must go in a blue group (E-H). Some clubs are paired with a club in the Conference league. That draw takes place at 14:30 CEST.
12:49 - The top team from each of the eight groups will qualify for the last 16 while the runners-up will play a two legged tie with a third placed Champions League team to make the last 16.
12:43 - A reminder that the defending champions are Eintracht Frankfurt after beating Rangers on penalties in Sevilla last May following a 1-1 draw. Both teams are in the Champions League group stage.
12:42 - The final will take place on 31st May 2023 at the Puskas Arena in Budapest. The match was supposed to host last year's final, but the COVID pandemic led to all cities hosting their finals 12 months later than planned.
12:41 - The group stage normally takes place between September but the winter World Cup means the group stage is condensed this year. It begins on 8th September and ends on 3rd November. The knockouts start in February, as usual, while the final is slightly later than normal.
12:40 - A reminder that teams from the same pot or country cannot face each other in the group stage.
12:37 - Who will Man Utd and Arsenal face in the Europa League?
12:35 - The remaining teams are in pot 4. They are: Nantes, HJK, Sturm Graz, AEK Larnaca, Omonia, Zurich, Union Saint-Gilloise and Trabzonspor.
