Memphis Depay is starting his new life at Barca this week. The Dutch striker will have his medical on Monday and he will start working under Ronald Koeman on Wednesday. The following day, Thursday, he will be presented at the Camp Nou as a Barca player.
Barcelona's new signing is now at home. Memphis Depay has returned after his well earned break following the Netherlands' elimination and he will have a busy week.
It is expected that he passes his medical on Monday, gets to know his new teammates and then gets down to work under Ronald Koeman, who he knows well from his time at the Dutch national team.
In addition, on Thursday, he will be presented at the Camp Nou where he will put on the Barca shirt and coincide with Joan Laporta, the club president, in a special ceremony for Memphis Depay.
Depay is the first signing for Barcelona for the 2021-22 season. For the meantime, Eric Garcia and Emerson will play for their national teams at the Olympic Games and Aguero is enjoying his final days of holidays after winning the Copa America for Argentina.
Barca are focussing on selling players to do the most important deal of the summer, re-sign Leo Messi. The coming weeks will be key so that the Argentinian star returns to Barcelona.
