Hearts condemn Paatelainen to losing start
Juanma Delgado's 16th-minute penalty for Hearts condemned Mixu Paatelainen to a 1-0 defeat in his first game as Dundee United manager in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
Spanish forward Juanma struck from the spot at Tannadice after Blair Spittal had been penalised for bringing down Sam Nicholson.
Spittal's day went from bad to worse in stoppage time when he was sent off for a second yellow card.
Victory lifted Hearts to third place in the Scottish top flight, four points below Aberdeen and six shy of leaders Celtic, while United are four points adrift of Partick Thistle at the foot of the division.
