After scoring his last three goals against Russia and Cyprus, the Belgian captain has become the second highest goalscorer in the history of the Belgian national team, with 30 goals. Only Romelu Lukaku is ahead of him with 42.
The 28-year-old Chelsea striker scored twice on Thursday in Belgium's victory over Russia (3-1) and again against Cyprus on Sunday (0-2).
His 30 goals for Belgium draw him level with Paul Van Himst and Bernard Voorhoof as the second highest goalscorer.
"I hope that I still have many matches left for Belgium and also more goals", he stated after Belgium's Euro 2020 qualifier against Cyprus.
