Having Casillas and De Gea is incredible for Spain - Salgado
The Porto and Manchester United stars are fighting for the first team spot, and Soldado believes Spain are lucky to have two amazing keepers who can both do the job.
Former Spain international Michel Salgado has showered both Spanish goalkeepers with praises, and claims that Spain have a solid keeper with whatever decision they make.
Speaking to Goal, the star said: "Obviously Casillas is my friend, but I also know De Gea well, he is young, he is growing and he is doing spectacular things."
"I think the best part of this is that we have two fantastic, really good options," he said. "I don't care who is the starter, that is an issue for the coach. Having Casillas and De Gea is incredible for us."
It is however looking likely that De Gea will take the number one spot, after another strong season for Manchester United, whilst Casillas has had a tough season with Portuguese side Porto.
