Harry Kane converted from the spot to put Tottenham 1-0 up against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Spurs were awarded the penalty after veteran striker Glenn Murray handled the ball in the box.
Murray bizarrely raised his arm above his head whilst in the wall defending a free-kick, leaving referee Chris Kavanagh little choice but to award the penalty.
Kane stepped up to bury his third Premier League goal of the season, sending keeper Mat Ryan the wrong way.
Kavanagh was correct to award the penalty, Kane's 13th since the start of the 2015/16 season.
