UEFA are preparing all of the fine details of EURO 2021. In the last few hours, local authorities confirmed that Hampden Park stadium in Glasgow will host some matches of the European tournament.

Hampden Park will be able to host matches corresponding to EURO 2021, according to the local authorities.

The Scottish stadium was going to host three group stage matches and one last 16 game in the championship that was going to take place this summer but which has been postponed until next year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

UEFA will announce the stadiums which are still available for next year's European competition on 27th May. According to a spokesperson to the 'BBC', the formal letter and the documents required for the stadium's approval were sent to UEFA on 14th May.

"We look forward to Hampden Park, Glasgow, and Scotland being a key part as co-hosts of a memorable Euro", the spokesperson noted.
