Bayern Munich do not plan on going for the Norwegian player in 2020. They have confidence that Robert Lewandowski can still perform well for quite a few years to come.

Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski have started off the season at the highest level. After being substituted and not scoring last week, the Norwegian entered into the starting 11 in the league game against Salzburg this Saturday. And of course, he scored a goal to reach 18 so far in the campaign.

The striker's last 14 games have been spectacular. He has scored 17 goals in them and has also got three assists, so he positively influences the game.

The striker can only be compared with the extraterrestrial Leo Messi and the earthy Robert Lewandowski. Despite a goalless draw with Borussia Monchengladbach, the Pole's start to the campaign has been stellar at 31.

The veteran attacker's performance was expected to drop slightly due to his age, but the Pole is experiencing a second youth. In 22 matches, he has scored 27 goals, although he has made no contribution to Bayern's two successive defeats.

In Germany, there is speculation that Haaland could receive an attractive offer from Bayen for analysis along with what RB Leipzig will almost certainly put on the table.

But 'SportBild' have ruled this out this Sunday, stating that Bayern will not be bidding for the striker for now. In Munivh, they still have a lot of faith in Lewandowski.
