The former coach Ottmar Hitzfeld, who was in charge of Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich in the past, spoke about 'Der Klassiker' and focussed his attention on Erling Haaland and Robert Lewnadowski.

The Bundesliga could be all but settled after the clash between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. Ottmar Hitzfeld, former coach of both clubs, talked about Dortmund and Bayern.

To start with, Hitzfeld compared Haaland with Lewandowski and said that the Norwegian has some way to go before he can be as good as the Pole.

"Haaland can end up being like Lewandowski, but he is still not prepared. He was an excellent signing for Borussia Dortmund in the winter and he is now a special player. He is incredibly mature for his age, he has great qualities and he keeps his cool in front of goal. Despite his size, he's extremely quick," Hitzfeld told 'Goal'.

Of the Pole, he said that he could smash Gerd Muller's record of 40 goals: "He has the necessary quality and excellent teammates. Stats don't lie."

Hitzfeld said that Bayern will have the advantage of not having to deal with the pressure of the crowd in a stadium like Signal Iduna Park. "In a stadium which is like a pressure cooker, the pressure can determine the result. And that will no longer happen," he explained.

Finally, Hitzfeld praised Flick's job at Bayern. "I reallly like him because he is meticulous, very good tactically and above all, an excellent leader."
