Zinedine Zidane, the Real Madrid coach, denied in a press conference that he did not want to keep Luka Jovic this season. He reminded the media that he was the one who asked the board to sign him and that the news was "nonsense". Zidane did not reveal what he said to the player.
On other issues, the French boss was also asked about Martin Odegaard and Erling Haaland playing for Norway.
'Zizou' was clear, admitting that he likes how the Dortmund star plays. Haaland was linked with a move to Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.
"I've watched all his matches. Martin played a bit differently in the line of four players, but he did well. I like my footballers to play when they go away on international duty. Haaland is not my player, but he's good, what can I tell you," Zidane said.
